At Connexion, we believe that this life is best navigated together.  We need authentic relationships that cultivate authentic community and challenge us all on to taking our next positive step towards growth.  We call this kind of community, XGroups.  An XGroup is a small group that consists of 4 to 12 people that meet together each week to wade through God's Word, build relationships with one another, to serve each other and the community. 

XGroups help provide a level of care that we could never get from a minister or pastor.  An XGroup helps meet the needs of individuals in a way that church staff and leadership can never do.

WHAT DO XGROUPS DO?
1. XGroups grow closer to God by studying His Word, The Bible.
Yes, we study the Bible together but its never in a boring, classroom setting.  We egage God's truth, as the truth that it is, while encouraging each other with our own experiences.

2. XGroups help us grow in authentic relationships with one another.
We all need true friends that encourage us to grow in our faith and that are there when we need them.

3. XGroups serve the community at large.
We want to serve others before ourselves in our community.  XGroups can do so many great and rewarding projects together that an indivdual could never do alone.

SHOULD I BE IN AN XGROUP?
Everyone should try out a group.  Our groups meet for specific periods of time ranging from 6 to 12 weeks at a time.  If you join a group at the start of one of these periods of time, we encourage you to stay with that specific time commitment until the end.  Some people find that they already have this type of community in their lives or that it just isn't for them, but we encourage you to give XGroups a try.  For most people, after they give it a try they would never go through this life without being in a group.
